Life brings challenges to people of all ages. It is my passion to come alongside of children, teens, and adults through the restorative process of counseling by providing a safe and supportive environment where they can grow and heal.
Providing A Safe and Supportive Environment Where You Can Grow and Heal.
“Toys are children’s words and play is their language.”
Garry L. Landreth
I believe that every individual has inherent value, and that life is to be fully experienced and enjoyed.
My approach to counseling integrates proven psychological principles like Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, and Attachment Therapy with a Christian foundation.
Working With Children (ages 3-11)
Children express their feelings and “talk” about what is happening in their lives through their play. Play Therapy allows children to express themselves, learn to regulate their emotions, work through trauma, build confidence, develop social skills and more!
Working With Adolescents (ages 11-17)
Teenagers have a lot on their minds as they navigate all the developmental changes occurring in their lives, and oftentimes, they need more than “talk therapy.” They need an outlet to express themselves. I use creative ways to help them communicate their feelings and their thoughts about what is happening both inside and outside of them including usage of sand trays, game playing, drawing, and painting.
Working With Women
It is a privilege for me to listen to the stories of women who desire to feel heard and understood by someone with genuine life experience. Life brings many challenges, and I enjoy walking alongside of women to encourage them as they journey towards healing, wholeness, and healthier lives.
